Fix the lock, keep the strap.

Nexus center-release latches are the push-button style: press the tab in the middle and the buckle lets go. When that tab stops clicking or the body cracks, swap the lock and keep the webbing.

In the kit: 2 male sides with lock, 2 female sides with center release, 2 keys, 4 stainless steel screws.

Is this your lock? One center push-button = Nexus center-release. Two side arms you squeeze = SCL pinch style (different kit). If your cover sits next to a hot cabinet or heater and the old latches warped, consider Fireloc heat-resistant locks instead. The latch holds 1-inch webbing, and the body mounts with a #4 screw.

How it locks: turn the key 90° to lock. Unlocked, a push on the center button opens it.
