Fireloc® is a heat-stabilized nylon buckle line designed for high-heat applications. On a spa, it’s the upgrade for latches that keep warping, going soft, or cracking on a sun-baked or heater-side cabinet.
In the kit: 2 male sides with lock, 2 female sides with center release, 2 keys, 6 stainless steel screws. Hardware only; the strap you have stays in place.
Is this your lock? Fireloc is a center-release (push-button) style. Don’t mix Fireloc and standard Nexus parts on a guess: match the lock to the hardware already on your cover, or replace both halves together.
How it locks: a 90° key turn locks it. Unlocked, press the center button to release.
Why a 2-pack? Most two-strap covers lock at two points on one side. Replace both so one brittle old buckle isn’t left on the lid.
